In 2000, Jeannides moved to Ukrainian Village, close to her mother’s childhood home and the churches that welcomed her grandparents to America. Here, she painted neighborhood scenes, Ukrainian landmarks, and quintessential Chicago interiors. Her deep love of the city is evident in every composition. Jeannides’ work is an integral part of Chicago’s history.
